Diamond Way
Buddhist Center Granada

Live-in Center Granada

Located in a beautiful area of Granada, Villa Monserrat is a jewel that will shine again on the city after we undertake a renovation project for the Diamond Way Buddhist Centre of the Karma Kagyu lineage.

Villa Montserrat

After manifesting our wish to open a Diamond Way Buddhist Centre in Granada to Lama Ole Nydahl and following his advice, in 2013 we started to look for an appropriate building. After two years full of searching and auspicious events, we bought the Villa in the summer of 2015.

The Diamond Way Buddhist Centre will make Buddha’s highest teachings accessible to this wonderful city. At the same time, realising this project is helping us to discover that there is no peak we canot reach when we do it together and to do something that is beneficial for the greatest number of beings into the furthest future. All of this is made possible by the power that comes from our Spanish Diamond Way Buddhist Centres together with the generosity of many international friends.

Villa Monserrat is over 100 years old and it is architecturally protected by Granada Council. It is located in a calm and accessible part of the city, 15 minutes from the city centre by foot and very close to main roads.

Soon we hope to be able to develop the activity of the Diamond Way Buddhist Centre (Karma Kagyu lineage) in Granada.
